Role purpose.
As a Head of Group Marketing you will spearhead transformative strategies that connect markets, inspire teams, and set new benchmarks of excellence. Reporting directly to our CSO, you will lead a talented, diverse team and oversee marketing initiatives that span continents, ensuring cohesive brand messaging, impactful campaigns, business development, and cutting-edge digital innovation.
Role responsibilities.
- Securing and expanding CHG-MERIDIAN's market position in line with the overarching corporate policy, objectives, divisional and financial targets
- International strategy, development, organization, and coordination function of the Marketing division
- Lead and inspire a team of approximately 10 employees, including 2 team leaders.
- Provide dotted-line leadership to marketing employees in regional subsidiaries, fostering collaboration and alignment.
- Marketing division, in particular to provide a framework for the country organizations
- Planning and adherence to the annual budget
- Collaborate with international sales organizations to optimize product portfolio management, digital lead generation, and B2B marketing efforts.
- Drive international corporate brands and products rights management and market launches for products and solutions
- International trademark applications
- Brand rights auditing in the context of M&A processes
- Sparring partner for HR in the areas of employer branding, value proposition and HR marketing
- Promote seamless cooperation among diverse international teams, leveraging cross-cultural competencies to achieve shared objectives.
About your skills.
- Wide range of different marketing disciplines:
- Partner marketing, B2B2B
- Content marketing (reference stories, studies, white papers, etc.)
- Performance and social media marketing
- SEO/SEA optimization
- Digital lead generation
- Owned / paid / earned media
- Brand positioning & development, brand awareness
- Product portfolio management (structure and presentation)
- Experience in working closely with international and multicultural sales organizations
- Employee management, also within decentralized structures
- Ideally worked abroad for a longer period of time, in any case absolutely confident in presenting yourself in an international context
- Pragmatic, entrepreneurial, and compatible with medium-sized companies
- Clear and direct in decision-making and communication, provides good orientation
- Digital marketing “fanatic” with own expertise in all relevant topics
- Business fluent in German and English
