Our Creative group, which includes Design, Video, Motion Graphics, and Web/Interactive, is an essential part of our agency, bringing creative visions to life. We are looking for a highly organized and business-savvy
Creative Operations Manager to ensure the smooth execution of creative projects and the management of essential business operations. The Creative Operations Manager will serve as the backbone of our creative group, bridging the gap between creative execution and business operations. This individual will be responsible helping to managing revenue forecasts, help manage resources, and play a key role in business development. Additionally, this role will require a strong focus on client service, ensuring the highest level of care for our clients while fostering and growing relationships. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and possess a unique ability to balance creativity with operational and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Forecasting:
- Work with the creative and marketing leadership team to develop, maintain, and update revenue forecasts for the Creative group
- Collaborate with leadership to align forecasts with overall business objectives and ensure accurate projections
- Budget and Expense Management:
- Monitor and manage project budgets, with a specific focus on tracking OOP expenses
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on financial status, identifying potential overages or areas for cost optimization
- New Business & Operational Oversight:
- Help drive new business activities working with integrated teams
- Execute contracts and scope as part of the new business process in collaboration with marketing leadership. Serve as a liaison between creative teams and business operations, ensuring alignment and clarity on project scope, timelines, and budgets
- Handle contracts, vendor agreements, and financial documentation related to creative projects
- Client Service and Relationship Growth:
- Partner closely with marketing leadership to ensure seamless client service and satisfaction
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by anticipating needs, proactively addressing issues, and delivering exceptional experiences
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships by introducing additional services or capabilities from the creative team
- Project Workflow Coordination:
- Collaborate with project managers and creative leads in maintaining schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables
- Identify and address potential bottlenecks in the workflow to ensure timely project delivery
- Process Improvement:
- Develop and refine operational processes to improve efficiency and communication across teams
- Implement tools and systems to better track and manage creative project performance and financials
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in creative operations, project management, or a similar role within a creative or marketing agency
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service and grow client relationships
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in revenue forecasting and budget management
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in project management software and financial tools (e.g., Excel, Smartsheet, or similar)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across creative and business teams
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
