Job Overview:
As Human Resources Manager, you are responsible for supporting the business to deliver people-related processes, vision and strategy across the company, aligned with the law and the company’s objective. Further, supporting management with challenging issues and the development of all staff within the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Providing strategic advice to support all levels of management.
- Supporting management with implementing and carrying out appraisals and probationary review meetings.
- Drafting the documentation for formal meetings such as disciplinary's and grievances.
- Managing the Groups absence levels.
- Creation of new employee benefit ideas, and implementation and management of employee benefits which are offered.
- Management of apprentices including recruiting, review meetings and managing progress/future development.
- Overseeing the training and development for all staff.
- Assisting with recruitment in terms of advertising job vacancy’s, contacting, screening and interviewing.
- Producing reports from company information and data, and analysing the data with the view to improve.
- Overseeing the organisation of staff wellbeing days and nights out.
- Staff holiday management.
- Processing flexible working requests which are made.
- Drafting contracts of employment.
- Conducting meetings with all employees about topical issues.
- Creating and implementing employee engagement surveys.
- Review company procedures in place and advise on cost saving ideas.
- Carrying out regular reviews of the Employee Handbook inline with new laws and legislation.
- Monthly presentation of reportable HR data.
- Management of the office and HR staff.
- Identification of future people requirements to ensure that the Group KPI targets can be met.
- Carrying out salary reviews and conducting job role benchmarking.
- Conducting annual workforce reviews.
- Reviewing the well being and retention strategies along with continuous improvement across the Group.
Skills:
- CIPD level 5 or equivalent
- Proven experience in human resources management with a strong understanding of HR best practices.
- Strong data analysis skills to interpret HR metrics and inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience in managing recruitment processes.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
