At Lingvano, our mission is to break down language barriers and build bridges between Deaf and hearing people, which we do through sign language courses, Deaf culture lessons, sharing stories from the Deaf community, and community-building activities.
We are looking for a Marketing Manager to help us grow from 3 million learners to many more. If you have a strong track record in growing consumer tech startups, are an entrepreneurial, strategic thinker, and care about accessibility and inclusion – we've got the perfect job for you!
Your responsibilities
- Oversee performance marketing channels, such as paid social and influencer marketing
- Oversee organic marketing (organic search [ASO, SEO], organic social [Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube]), and PR marketing
- Guide collaboration between the marketing and product teams
- Support the development of our Go-To-Market strategy, in addition to brand positioning and creative strategy
- Manage a marketing team (including Deaf colleagues), and hire/onboard more team members
- Create and align your team’s objectives with broader company and other team objectives, and take accountability to ensure they are effectively executed throughout each quarter
- Communicate and collaborate with cross-team leadership, as well as help inform executive planning
Your qualifications
- 5+ years in digital product marketing, including 2+ years in management
- A proven track record in optimizing paid marketing channels at-scale of 100k/month or more against CAC/ROAS targets
- Experience in marketing mobile apps
- Excellent collaboration, leadership, organizational, and analytical skills
- A passion for accessibility and inclusion, as well as an interest in learning a sign language and working with Deaf people
- Experience working in the education verticals is a plus

This position is intended to be permanent, with 40 hours per week, and located in the United States, Germany, or Austria. This job is open to begin immediately, but if you cannot start immediately we still encourage you to apply. The gross minimum salary based on 40 hours per week is €60,000 per year. Depending on your qualifications and experience, a higher salary is possible.
