General Responsibilities
Ø Assist in implementation of departmental BRISOP and systems framework, identifying and assessing future and current training needs and drawing an overall or individualized training and development plan.
Ø
Curator and custodian of Rosetta Operational Excellence Trainee (ROET) Program.
Ø Responsible for managing the hotel’s training function, including developing a qualified
departmental learning coordinator (DLC) for each department.
Ø Analyze training needs of the hotel in general and individual departments, and develop strategies that address needs and presenting the same for the Resident Manager and Executive Committee’s review.

- ROET’s
- Employees
- Hotel School Industrial Trainees
Ø Coordinate with Catering Colleges and organizing campus interviews and drive the recruitment program for the resort.
Specific Responsibilities
Ø Ensure effective training programs are in place for the following:
- New Employee Orientation, Guide & Onboarding socialization
- Talent Development Programme
- Department Learning Coordinator
- Customer Service Training
- Technical job-specific training (through certification of departmental BRISOP)
- Supervisory Development Training
- Management Development Training
- Fire, Life and Safety Training
- Upselling Skills
- Being Roseterian
- Retraining and reinduction for existing associates
Ø Aligns the Training Goals with the Resort Goals, ensures the resort scores a minimum of 90% in the Renard Audit, attains budgeted training man-hours goals, 90% in offline and online guest feedback, etc.
Ø Monitor the progress of the Training Plan for each department to ensure that the training objectives are being achieved as per the Resort’s goal and vision.
Ø Establish and manages resorts e-library, training videos, journals, and audiovisual materials to assist trainers and associates for their personal development.
Ø Design, produce and implement training programs that meet specific departmental needs in conjunction with Department Heads, ensuring that training session plans are structured and that training is effective.
Ø Attend departmental training sessions and critique performance.
Ø Assist Departmental Trainers’s in preparing and conducting departmental training and assess accordingly.
Ø Ensure that Department Heads abide by their responsibilities of employee training against departmental BRISOPs.
Ø Conduct regular service excellence training and internal audits
(FAQ’s Audit, HOTEL Facts Audit, Grooming Audit, RTS Audit, Telephonic Etiquettes Audit, Check-in & Check-out Audit, F&B Outlets Dining Audit,
Facilities Audit (Housekeeping/Maintenance For Rooms), GSC Audit, SPA Audit, etc.) to ensure compliance with the BRISOP. Shares the same with the Resident Manager and the Excom.
Ø Produce monthly training reports the General Manager and the Corporate Office including:
- Internal & External Training Programs conducted
- Training topic
- Name and department of the attendees
- Number of people attended
- Duration of training
- Trainer’s profile
Ø Assists in the hiring of differently-abled and mentally retarded staff members create a special training program for them and monitor their progress.
Ø Coaches, counsels and disciplines staff, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance.
Ø Ensures that all staff abides by the hotel dress codes and hotel rules.
Ø
Prepares and submits the annual Training Budget and manages the departmental expenses.
Ø Liaise with the Human Resource team for completing the cycle of recruitment, induction, training & development.
Ø Monitor and evaluate the training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on
them.
