The Nuffield Department of Population Health undertakes world-leading research into long term, chronic health conditions, operating large-scale long-term studies and projects to identify the causes, prevention and treatment of diseases that result in avoidable suffering for millions of people around the world. The administrative teams are closely integrated within the department and work with all levels of staff who are committed to the research and teaching undertaken.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced HR Manager to this interesting role leading the HR function and team as well as contributing to the strategic development of the department.
You should have considerable experience of managing the HR function of an organisation at strategic level, dealing with a wide range of HR issues, including complex cases. You should have the ability to communicate and gain the confidence of a wide range of staff. You will also need be educated to degree level (or have equivalent experience) and be a CIPD member.
