Merseyside - Manufacturing

Up to £110,000 + Car allowance + Bonus + Family Health cover

Due to the nature and requirements of this role, you will be expected to be present on-site 4 days per week.

The Role:

You’ll play a key role in aligning HR practices with the company’s strategic objectives while maintaining a hands-on approach to daily HR operations. You’ll need to be collaborative, open-minded, and unafraid to challenge the status quo to achieve excellence across all levels of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic and Operational Leadership : Operate effectively at all levels—from the shop floor to the boardroom—to ensure HR practices support both people and business goals.
Collaboration with Global Teams : Work closely with international stakeholders, including reporting to US-based leadership teams, ensuring alignment with global HR strategies.
M&A Integration : Lead the HR aspects of post-M&A integration, aligning cultures and processes to create a unified workforce.
Challenge and Innovate : Proactively challenge current practices and drive continuous improvement in HR operations, fostering innovation and collaboration across the organisation.
Manufacturing Expertise : Leverage your manufacturing sector experience to address specific workforce challenges and deliver tailored HR solutions.
Talent and Development : Create strategies to attract, develop, and retain talent, building a strong, future-ready workforce.
Compliance and Policy : Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation while harmonising policies across the global business.

What We’re Looking For:

Experienced HR Leader : Proven HR leadership experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
Collaborative and Open-Minded : A team player with a flexible, inclusive approach who thrives on collaboration and constructive challenge.
Strategic and Hands-On : Comfortable developing high-level strategies while remaining deeply involved in day-to-day HR operations.
Global Outlook : Experience working for a UK business with US reporting is highly advantageous but not essential.
Excellent Communicator : Able to influence and inspire at all levels, from shop floor teams to senior executives.
Proactive Problem Solver : A forward-thinker who is eager to challenge norms and implement innovative HR solutions.
