Introduction:
This role in the organisation will be reporting to the Head of People and Culture based in Sydney. This is an individual contributor role, and, in this role, you will partner with stakeholders supporting end to end Human Resources activities for the team in Malaysia. This role will also support the facility management and administration functions to ensure that the office is operating seamlessly and effectively.

Key Accountabilities
As a People & Culture Specialist, your role involves working closely with senior management and key stakeholders to align HR strategies with business objectives. Here are some key accountabilities often associated with the role:
Business Partnering
- Strategize and develop workplace and business relationships with all relevant stakeholders for constant improvements and contribute towards implementation of best practices.
- Drive and manage people-agenda projects, initiatives and work streams while ensuring high quality end-to-end business partnering and value-added services to the business leaders and employees.
- Support organisational change processes and initiatives in the areas of integration and restructuring.
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
Onboarding Responsibilities
- Understand current and future talent requirements and lead/support various talent acquisition/resourcing projects and initiatives through effective partnership with the business leaders. These include working within the recruitment budget and keeping track of recruitment metrics.
- Manage the talent recruitment cycle from job profiles development, candidate sourcing, interviewing and selection through offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Guide hiring managers in selection of candidates with right competencies, experience and culture fit.
Total Rewards and Benefits
- Working with the Talent Acquisition & Development Manager, coach hiring managers in compensation strategies and programmes as well as to review needs of the workforce.
- Effective management and administration of the full spectrum of total rewards and benefits policies and programs to ensure internal equitability and external competitiveness of the business in the talent market.
- Analyse and provide recommendations for employee progression and movement within the company to ensure alignment with the policies and programs of Blueberry Markets International
- Drive employee benefits program, absence management process and support monthly payroll processing
- Lead and manage HRIS, maintaining data accuracy and publishing monthly HR dashboards
Employee Engagement
- Drive monthly employee engagement survey participation, analyse reports and work with people managers to enable engagement of team
- Implement and manage employee engagement and health/well-being programs while ensuring diversity in the workplace.
- Build rapport with the employees to promote and encourage participation in company programs and activities.
Adhoc duties
- Own, comply and develop our business policies, procedures and understand and implement our management system.
- Oversee all procurement activities and manage all third-party providers across Blueberry Markets in Manila, including tracking of costs.
- Effective management and maintenance of all office operations and equipment, mailing and shipping.
- Develop efficient systems and procedures to optimise and maximise the use of resources across Blueberry Markets.
- Deliver accurate, and confidential, proactive administration support across the end-to-end employment lifecycle.
- Assisting the People and Culture team with the onboarding of new employees, ensuring all equipment is set up and providing an office induction.
- Enabling the business to operate efficiently by ensuring their technology needs are met and onboarding and offboarding is carried out in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR-related areas
Experience
- At least 2 years of strong HR experience in Malaysia.
- Exposure in one or more HR functions such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Management & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll.
- Prior experience in change and project management at the HR and organisational levels.
- Good knowledge of local labour legislation.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced multicultural global team environment
