Bosch Building Technologies is divided into the international product business and the regional system integration business. Currently, the three product areas of video systems, access control & intrusion detection systems and communication systems as well as the associated cross-sectional functions within the division are to be set up as an independent unit and then further developed as a sustainable core business by a new owner.
Job Description
- As Regional Head of HR you will build up the HR organization in Asia Pacific and can expect exciting tasks and a wide range of personal and professional development opportunities in a dynamic team and a highly attractive market environment, both during the reorganization phase and in the future.
- Together with your team, you will actively shape the development of the business together with the respective management and identify needs for HR topics at an early stage, which you will work on independently.
- With your experience, you will work on all HR-relevant issues and support the business on the HR side and win others over to your ideas.
- You act holistically by keeping an eye on the perspectives of all stakeholders and implementing issues professionally and sustainably.
- You will work closely and trustingly with specialist departments, employee representatives and the HR community, embedded in a matrix organization.
- You will work in global projects, plan and manage your areas of responsibility independently and implement them successfully.
- You will ensure continuous coordination with all internal and external stakeholders and ensure a high level of transparency regarding the project status.
- You will be responsible for initiating, developing and implementing HR processes, strategies and initiatives for the region and steer external provider (e.g. for payroll).
- You will also prove the ability to partner with groups to increase retention, build employee relations and drive employee engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related fields.
- Master’s degree or MBA in HR, Business, or related field (preferred).
- 10 to 15 years of professional experience in the HR environment, extensive knowledge of individual labor law and works constitution law, high intercultural competence and project experience.
- Active involvement in shaping HR topics and processes, professional approach and sustainable implementation of topics in close cooperation with the HR community and the business.
- Flexible, proactive and communicative way of working.
- Experience managing large-scale organizational change, mergers, or acquisitions.
- Ability to lead HR transformation initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong consulting, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficient in communication, negotiation, and decision-making.
