The incumbent is accountable for leading the TA & EB department and the business at large in all of its recruiting functions, inclusive of team leadership, sourcing strategy development and execution, program design and implementation, and related recruiting and Employer Branding goal development and achievement.
Qualification
- Education Level (minimum qualification level) Diploma / Degree in any related field
- Required Minimum Working Experience and Knowledge.
- Minimum 10 – 12 years of working experience in TA space, ideally with 3 years’ experience in managing a team and in leading employer branding initiatives Required Language Skill (If any)
- Good English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency (written & spoken) Required IT Skills (If any)
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
Job Description
- To assist immediate superior to plan, strategize, manage and lead the overall operations of the unit to support the operational requirements and achievement of departmental objectives.
- To work closely with immediate superior in achieving your individual KPIs as well as the department’s related KPI, in line with the balanced scorecard measurement.
- Talent Acquisition: To assist the superior in managing and supervising the full spectrum of TA & selection activities (but not limited to) the following:
- Plan and strategize for the TA, conduct human resource planning together with respective business unit, execute timely plans and strategies in meeting the HR needs due to business requirements and expansion to facilitate business sustainability.
- Executive the above talent acquisition strategies in meeting human resources needs in recruitment, interviewing, selection and placement activities.
- Proactively implement automation and process enhancements to streamline and improve work processes to increase work productivity and efficiency.
- To coach, guide, groom and maintain a team of stable and competent recruitment specialists in supporting the existing and sustainability of business units.
- To analyze recruitment statistics and provide recommendations for further improvement or effective sourcing.
- To work closely with other human resources unit heads on the formulation and implementation of the new or existing measures / processes that will be affecting the talent acquisition activities.
- Staying abreast of industry trends in new and innovative ways of talent acquisition, new systems/ assessment tools, guidelines, policies, rules and regulations.
- To reach out and provide relevant and sound consultation and advise to all heads, and line managers groupwide on all matters relating to talent acquisition and recruitment initiates as and when required in line with the business needs and strategies.

- Create and execute employer branding strategies aligned with business and talent goals.
- Collaborate with HR, marketing, and communications teams to ensure alignment.
- Content Creation & Communication
- Develop content showcasing company culture, values, and employee stories.
- Manage employer brand presence on platforms like LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, etc.
- Create recruitment marketing materials (videos, blogs, social media posts).
- Analytics & Insights
- Monitor employer brand performance using metrics (e.g., application rates, Glassdoor ratings, social engagement).
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and talent market research. Event Management
- Plan and execute employer branding events like career fairs, webinars, and university outreach programs.
- Drive Upskilling Workshops; Competency Based Interview Training, Recruitment, EB, Personality Plus interpretation and ATS upskilling
- Exercise and maintain high standards of integrity and professionalism in dealing with clients and strive to preserve and enhance the good reputation and goodwill of the Company as well as, building close rapport and relationship with existing clients.
- Ensure, maintain and enforce a proper supervisory program and competent system of internal controls (SOPs, reporting format, KPI tracking and etc).
- Observe and comply at all times with all Acts, laws, articles of associations, rules and regulations pertaining to and/or affecting the Company’s business and be conversant with all statutory updates (where required) as may be introduced thereto.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects, assignments or any others as and when requested by the Management.
- Display teamwork and work closely with the other colleagues at all time.
