Job Purpose
The Vice President of Talent Acquisition is responsible for designing and executing forward-thinking recruitment initiatives that align with Prasarana’s workforce needs. This role involves leading the full-cycle recruitment process, integrating cutting-edge HR technology, strengthening employer branding, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. The incumbent oversees a team of recruiters, drives continuous improvements in talent acquisition processes, and supports Prasarana’s mission by attracting top-tier talent in a competitive market.
Key Accountabilities
1. Strategic Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
- Develop and implement AI-driven talent acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct workforce planning using predictive analytics to anticipate hiring needs and skills gaps.
- Strengthen employer branding initiatives by leveraging digital platforms and employee advocacy programs.
2. Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters, fostering a data-driven and agile recruitment culture.
- Provide continuous learning opportunities to upskill the team on HR technology and market trends.
- Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in hiring practices to build a diverse workforce.
3. End-to-End Recruitment Execution:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define role competencies and create skills-based job descriptions.
- Leverage AI-powered sourcing tools, social media recruitment, and talent pipelines to attract passive candidates.
- Implement structured interviews and competency-based assessments to ensure unbiased hiring decisions.
4. Candidate Experience & Employer Branding:
- Enhance candidate engagement by integrating automated chatbots and real-time communication tools.
- Foster a seamless, positive candidate experience through a streamlined application process and transparent communication.
- Develop employer branding campaigns through content marketing, employee testimonials, and digital storytelling.
5. Data-Driven Decision Making & HR Technology:
- Monitor and analyze key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, quality of hire) to drive continuous improvements.
- Utilize HR analytics and dashboards to generate real-time insights and optimize hiring strategies.
- Implement and manage Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and AI-powered recruitment platforms to enhance efficiency.
6. Compliance & Future-Ready HR Practices:
- Ensure full compliance with employment laws, policies, and industry regulations in all recruitment activities.
- Stay updated on HR tech trends, workforce automation, and the impact of the gig economy on hiring strategies.
- Adopt agile recruitment methodologies to adapt to evolving workforce needs and market disruptions.
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Professional certifications in HR are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or related roles.
- Proven leadership experience in managing recruitment teams, with a focus on HR innovation and digital transformation.
