Are you an HR professional with a passion for partnering with the business to deliver impactful people strategies? Join a leading arts charity as an HR People Partner and play a key role within a small team in shaping the future of a dynamic and creative organisation.
The Role
As HR People Partner, you’ll provide expert support and advice across the organisation, working closely with managers and staff to deliver a proactive, solutions-focused HR service. From recruitment and employee relations to training and development, you’ll contribute to the full employee lifecycle while helping to embed a inclusive culture and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with managers, offering guidance on HR best practices
- Lead on employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with current employment legislation.
- Support the organisation’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) initiatives.
- Oversee recruitment processes to attract and retain high-quality staff.
- Design and deliver training sessions to enhance management and staff capabilities.
- Represent HR in meetings and interviews, championing the organisational culture and values.
What We’re Looking For:
If you’re a senior HR Advisor in a smaller organisation (200-600 colleagues) then this could be the perfect opportunity to step into a People Partner role.
You’ll have experience across the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on ER. This includes Grievance and Disciplinary processes, with previous experience of managing these end to end.
Experience working in creative environments, ideally within the arts, education, or charity sectors.
Familiarity with HR and delivering training solutions around this.
You’ll be someone who enjoys keeping up to date with the latest Employment law and best practices.
If you have experience of writing Policies, this would be beneficial.
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Ability to manage priorities with a proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach.
MCIPD qualified (or equivalent experience) and you’ll be committed to your ongoing professional development.
