About the Role
We are seeking a self-driven, disciplined, and detail-oriented Regional HR Manager to oversee Human Resources, Administration, and Corporate IT supervision across Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. This role requires strong leadership, cross-border HR expertise, and administrative acumen to support the company’s regional workforce effectively. The position is based in Iskandar Puteri, Malaysia, with travel to Singapore at least once a fortnight for management meetings.
Key Responsibilities
1. Human Resources Management
- HR Strategy & Compliance: Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the company’s goals while ensuring compliance with employment laws in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and workforce management to attract and retain top talent.
- Employee Relations & Performance Management: Act as the primary contact for HR matters, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures while promoting a high-performance culture.
- Payroll & Compensation: Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and compensation planning in collaboration with finance and third-party providers.
- Training & Development: Lead initiatives for employee learning, career development, leadership programs, and upskilling.
- HR Analytics & Reporting: Maintain and analyze HR metrics, providing insights to senior management to support data-driven decision-making.
2. Administration & Corporate IT Supervision
- Office Administration: Oversee general office management, procurement, facilities maintenance, and vendor contract negotiations.
- Corporate IT Supervision: Work with the IT team to ensure systems security, compliance, infrastructure support, and digital transformation initiatives are effectively implemented.
- Team Supervision: Manage and guide an Administrator, ensuring smooth daily administrative operations.
3. Stakeholder & Management Engagement
- Senior Leadership Support: Provide HR strategic advice and periodic workforce planning updates to the Corporate Director and senior management.
- Regional Coordination: Act as the HR liaison across Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, ensuring effective communication and alignment between teams.
- HR Business Partnering: Collaborate with department heads to implement people strategies that support business objectives.
Key Requirements
✔ Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, CIPD, IHRP, CHRM are an advantage.
✔ Experience: At least 7+ years of HR and administration experience, with regional HR management experience across multiple countries preferred.
✔ HR Expertise: Strong knowledge of employment laws, payroll, compliance, and labor regulations in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
✔ Communication & Leadership: Professional fluency in English (spoken & written). Ability to engage with senior leaders and regional teams effectively.
✔ Technical & Digital Savviness: Familiarity with HRIS, payroll software, Microsoft Office, and digital HR tools. Experience with IT policies and infrastructure oversight is a plus.
✔ Business Acumen: Understanding of HR’s role in driving business outcomes, particularly in scaling organizations across multiple geographies.
✔ Work Ethic & Traits: Self-motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
✔ Travel Commitment: Willing to travel to Singapore at least once every two weeks for management meetings.
